Up in the Air and Thank You For Smoking director Jason Reitman’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife starring Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, and Paul Rudd hits in July 2020.
And today we learned via Ghostbusters News that Sony and Hostess are teaming up for new Walmart exclusive Ghostbusters themed Twinkies filled with a blue slime. Or, you know, cream.

Jason Reitman directs Ghostbusters: Afterlife from a screenplay he wrote along with Gil Kenan (Monster House) based on the original film written by Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ivan Reitman. Ivan Reitman produces and the film stars Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Logan Kim, Celeste O’Connor, Oliver Cooper, and Bokeem Woodbine.

It will also see the return of original Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2 cast including Bill Murray as Peter Venkman, Dan Aykroyd as Raymond Stantz, Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddemore, Sigourney Weaver as Dana Barrett, and Annie Potts as Janine Melnitz.
The story this time around centers on a single mother (Carrie Coon) and her two children (Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard) who move to a new town, and soon discover that they have a connection to the original Ghostbusters and their grandfather’s secret legacy.
Ghostbusters 2020 aka Ghostbusters 3 aka Ghostbusters: Afterlife is scheduled to be released in the United States via Sony Pictures Releasing on July 10, 2020.
