This Day in Horror History: Happy Birthday Alyson Hannigan

For millions of horror TV watchers in the 1990s and early 2000s, Alyson Hannigan is synonymous with Willow Rosenberg, the character she played through 7 seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. From a scrappy sidekick, she evolved into a fierce Wicca and a queer icon. Hannigan also recently appeared in the hit horror-comedy You Might Be the Killer, where she played comic book store owner and pop-culture aficionado Chuck.

Synopsis:
A camp counsellor suffering from memory loss suddenly finds himself surrounded by murder victims and turns to his horror movie enthusiast friend for help.

Hannigan is married to her Buffy the Vampire co-star Alexis Denisof, who played Wesley Wyndam-Pryce; they have 2 children. (Source)

Hannigan portrays the girlfriend of Seth Green’s character in two different occasions. First was in the movie My Stepmother Is an Alien (1988) and then later in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997). (Source)
