MONSTER HUNTER Rated PG-13
Writer-director Paul W. S. Anderson’s big-screen adaptation of Capcom’s Monster Hunter with Milla Jovovich, Tony Jaa, and Ron Perlman is coming this September. And today we have word that the movie has been rated PG-13 for “sequences of creature action and violence throughout.”

It centers on a United Nations military team that falls into a portal to an alternate world, where Hunters fight giant monsters. Two groups work together to defend the portal, thwarting monsters from entering and invading Earth.
It stars Milla Jovovich as Captain Natalie Artemis, a member of a United Nations military team. She will be joined by Tony Jaa as The Hunter, one of many skilled warriors that fight giant monsters. Ron Perlman rounds out the cast as Admiral along with Clifford “T.I.” Harris, Jr. as Link, Diego Boneta, Meagan Good, Josh Helman, and Jin Au-Yeung.

Monster Hunter is written and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson based on the video game by Capcom. Anderson also produces with Dennis Berardi, Jeremy Bolt, and Ken Kamins. Sony Pictures Releasing will unleash the flick into theaters on September 4, 2020.
