Knock Knock Nears Distro

Knock Knock: Definitely not the most terror-inspiring title I’ve ever heard for a horror film, but advance word on the sophomore effort from director Joe Ariola has been pretty damn good.

While on the Plague Town set this weekend, I chatted up effects man Tate Steinsiek, who worked on Knock Knock, and he had nothing but good to say about it. Then today, suddenly, Fangoria got word that the film’s lining up distribution as we speak.

Grindstone/Mandate are looking to distribute the film through Lionsgate, the mag learned, which will definitely help get the title out to more eyeballs. Knock Knock is the story of a New York community terrorized by horrendous murders being perpetrated by the disgruntled son of an undertaker; never a good person to cross paths with.
