V-WARS Author Loves Netflix’s Upcoming Series
Netflix’s upcoming TV series adaptation of Jonathan Maberry’s V-Wars starring Ian Somerhalder will be unleashed later this month. And today we’ve learned that Maberry loves the show and thinks Netflix has done a great job adapting his story.
V-Wars star Adrian Holmes spread the news over on CinemaBlend, saying:
“He’s such a great writer. The fact that he loves the show is a huge compliment. The fact that we did right by him is such a great feeling in itself. When you’ve got the author coming to you saying ‘Thank you, you guys did a great job’…“
Based on the comic by Maberry, it tells the story of Dr. Luther Swann, who becomes swept up in a global disaster when a mysterious disease transforms his best friend, Michael Fayne, into a murderous predator who feeds on other humans.
