Aliens Invade Chris Pratt’s TOMORROW WAR Christmas Day 2020

Originally dubbed Ghost DraftJurassic World and Guardians of the Galaxy beefcake, Chris Pratt has an alien invasion flick now filming – and going by the stupid title The Tomorrow War.

And today we have word via Deadline that the film will be invading a theater near you on Christmas Day 2020.

Pratt shared the first look image of the movie – which co-stars Yvonne Strahovski (He’s Out There) and J. K. Simmons (Jennifer’s Body) – over on Instagram yesterday.

You can check it out in his post embedded below if you missed it.

The film has an interesting-ass premise that begins as humanity is losing to an alien invasion. So to fight back, scientists develop a way to draft soldiers from the past to fight the war.

See? Interesting sh*t.

Anyhow, it turns out the fate of the futuristic war rests upon one man’s abilities to confront the ghosts of his past. Bet that’s Pratt’s character they’re talking about.

Directed by Chris McKay (The Lego Batman Movie) from a screenplay written by Zach Dean and Bill Dubuque The Tomorrow War is produced by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, David S. Goyer, Adam Kolbrenner, and Jules Daly.

In addition to the stars laid out above including Chris Pratt, Yvonne Strahovski, and J. K. Simmons, The Tomorrow War also features Betty Gilpin and Sam Richardson. Pratt is executive producing the film in his debut as a producer. It began filming in Atlanta and Iceland back on September 1st.

Paramount and Skydance Media have scheduled the movie’s theatrical release for December 25, 2020.
