Danielle Harris Says There Will Be 2 More HATCHET Movies

Horror fans of a certain age and taste were severely bummed out when it became apparent that Danielle Harris would not be a part of the most recent Halloween reboot (a trilogy unfolding at Blumhouse). But there’s a chance she’ll be returning to another much-loved franchise: Hatchet!
Harris emerged in the 11th hour of Victor Crowley (the 4th Hatchet movie) hinting that her character, Marybeth Dunstan, has plenty more fight left in her. She confirmed as much to attendees of Monster Mania 44. Bloody Disgusting reports:
“There’s supposed to be two more [Hatchet Movies]. I know the rumor Adam [Green, Hatchet writer/director] told me is they’re going to shoot them at the same time. I have not read a script or done anything, I just know that he always makes me do really stupid shit. And a lot of it. So hopefully I’m not going to be handcuffed an entire movie this time, or covered in… It’s completely insane, what he has me do. But I know there’s supposed to be two more, which is great.”
The Hatchet franchise features Kane Hodder as Victor Crowley, one of the 21st Century’s most iconic horror villains. In addition to the most recent installment, Harris appeared in Hatchet II and Hatchet III.
