Todd McFarlane’s live-action Spawn reboot may be moving forward at a glacier’s pace, but at least we have a documentary about the character’s history and legacy to look forward to.

The singular career and the sprawling pursuits of Todd McFarlane are the subject of McFarlane: A Documentary, a new Syfy production that will air on the channel and via online platforms before year’s end.
