People Are Theorizing Tony Todd will be CANDYMAN in Nia DaCosta’s Sequel/Reboot

First, word came down this weekend that the new Candyman movie (directed by Nia DaCosta and produced by Jordan Peele) was wrapping principal photography in Chicago. Then, the rumor mill went into overdrive: Is Tony Todd (the OG Candyman, who was expected to have a cameo) actually the star of the movie, reprising the role that made him an icon in horror?

Our friends at Bloody Disgusting have been at the forefront of this speculation and, while they’ve earned their reputation as one of the most trusted horror outlets on the internet, they can’t confirm the Tony Todd/Canyman rumor 100%. For now, we’ll all just have to wait and see!
