Scary Movie 5 Moves to a New Date

For the ten or so of you out there who actually care, the fifth film in the lifeless Scary Movie franchise has gotten itself a new release date. We are sure you’re all deeply saddened.
Dimension Films has bumped the flick from its originally announced premiere date of April 20, 2012, to a January 11, 2013, date. Even though they’ll be missing out on all of the marijuana inspired in-jokes, we’re sure that you can still count on a ton of sight gags, one-liners, celebrity cameos, and a rant from Foy once he sees it.
David Zucker has yet to go behind the camera. In fact, his involvement is still speculation, as is the casting of Anthony Anderson, Regina Hall, and Kevin Hart. When we know, you’ll know.
