Check Out Darren Jones’ Halloween in 60 Seconds Video

Those wacky Canadians are at it again! In response to a radio station film festival, Darren Jones went out and spent four days acting, filming, directing, composing and doing everything necessary to create a 60-second version of John Carpenter’s iconic film Halloween. Check it out.
We have to say he did a pretty decent job as it takes a few seconds before you even realize he didn’t just cut clips, but re-shot the classic scenes with new performers. And he manages to hit all the high notes: the original murder of Michael’s sister, the asylum escape, the bed sheet/glasses costume. He’s got it all covered.
Scroll down and check out Jones’ piece, and if you like it, help him out by heading over to Vancouver’s Virgin Radio 95.3’s Fake Film Festival website and give Jones’ film a like to help him win this contest. Come on, horrorphiles; let’s lend a hand to one of our own!
