There’s another Gilbert family member heading to Mystic Falls, but sadly, she won’t be hanging out with the lovely – and lonely – Elena as the character is set to appear in flashbacks only. Read on for the details.
According to TV Guide newcomer Lindsey R. Garrett has been cast as Samantha Gilbert. Samantha, in her 20s, is described as a bit of a gossip, and she’ll appear in the episode titled “1912,” airing at the end of February, as one of the town’s founding family members who interacts with both Salvatore brothers.
