To outsiders and detractors, the horror community might seem like a legion of blood-thirsty sadists who delight in terrorizing the masses. But anyone who works in the industry or attends conventions can tell you one thing with certainty: Horror fans and filmmakers are salt of the Earth. Here’s just one example:

Freddy Krueger actor Robert Englund and Make-A-Wish Illinois gave one Nightmare on Elm Street fan an experience he won’t soon forget. Check out the story form Make-A-Wish below.
