This week is all about Midsommar, but we’ll be ready for some serious disaster action when Alexandre Aja’s Crawl slithers into theaters on July 12th. Today brings us two new clips from the film, highlighting the main terrors that await us: Mother Nature and man-eating alligators! Check out the first clip above and the second one below the synopsis!
When a massive hurricane hits her Florida town, young Haley ignores the evacuation orders to search for her missing father, Dave. After finding him gravely injured in their family home, the two of them become trapped by the rapidly encroaching floodwaters. With the storm strengthening, Haley and Dave discover an even greater threat than the rising water level — a relentless attack from a pack of gigantic alligators.
Aja directs Crawl from a screenplay penned by Michael Rasmussen and Shawn Rasmussen; the film stars Kaya Scodelario, Barry Pepper, and Ross Anderson. Sam Raimi produces.
