Hilarious Stop-Motion GODZILLA PSA Released By Alamo Drafthouse

We doubt there’s a single person in the world who doesn’t love Godzilla, so a hilarious stop-motion PSA released by the Alamo Drafthouse cinema chain is bound to bring a smile to the faces of anyone who watches it. The video, which runs for just under two minutes, shows Godzilla trying to act out scenes from his movies using toys. However, he is constantly interrupted by a baby Godzilla in his audience, who keeps talking on his phone and taking selfies throughout the presentation.

Seeing as the short is called How to Make Godzilla Really Angry, it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that adult Godzilla loses his temper when this happens. So, the message of this PSA is clearly to be respectful to your fellow moviegoers by not talking on your phone in the theater, and we can’t think of a more hilarious way to get the message across. Needless to say, you should keep your phone off and your mouth shut when you go to see a movie.

This stop-motion classic was created by Cressa Beer and Phoebe Jane Hart, and it played before Godzilla: King of the Monsters in several Alamo Drafthouse theaters. Beer and Hart were also responsible for another wonderful video called The Godzilla Kid, which we’ve embedded below. As its name suggests, this short depicts the giant lizard in a Wild West setting, and if you don’t cry at 1:39, you don’t have a soul.
