PARANORMAL ACTIVITY Reboot is Brewing at Paramount & Blumhouse

Paramount Chairman and CEO Jim Gianopulos made waves at CineEurope in Barcelona today by announcing that a 7th Paranormal Activity movie is in the works. Paramount is collaborating with Blumhouse to revive the supernatural franchise which has been dormant since 2015’s The Ghost Dimension.

Deadline broke the news:

Said Gianopulos, “We are partnering with uber horror producer Jason Blum to bring a new installment of Paranormal Activity.” The project is currently in development. As yet, there is no title, and details are being kept under wraps. The film would be the seventh in the nearly $900M worldwide grossing series.

Obviously, there’s a lot we don’t know about this upcoming Paranormal Activity movie, but we’ll be keeping our ears to the ground in order to bring you additional details as they emerge. Stay tuned and check back often!
