Nightmare Cinema is a horror anthology arriving in select theaters and VOD platforms beginning June 21st. Participating directors are Alejandro Brugués (Juan of the Dead), Ryûhei Kitamura (Midnight Meat Train), David Slade (30 Days of Night), Mick Garris (Sleepwalkers), and Joe Dante (Gremlins). Synopsis:
Five strangers converge at a haunted movie theater owned by The Projectionist (Mickey Rourke). Once inside, the audience members witness a series of screenings that shows them their deepest fears and darkest secrets over five tales.
Los Angeles area horror fans will have an opportunity to see Nightmare Cinema on Thursday, June 20th with members of the cast and crew in attendance. Garris, Dante, Brugues, and Kitamura will all be on hand for a Q&A following the movie. The event is taking place at the historic Hayworth Theatre (2511 Wilshire Blvd) at 10 PM (PST).
