Another Teaser for ICON: THE ROBERT ENGLUND STORY Looks at the Freddy Krueger Actor’s Other Roles

Three days ago, we announced the upcoming release of Icon: The Robert Englund Story, a career retrospective produced by Cult Screenings (the same folks behind the Fright Night documentary, You’re So Cool Brewster). Today, we’ve got another teaser to share, and it gives a retrospective of the Freddy Krueger actor’s entire career!
“If anyone deserves this sort of recognition, then it’s Robert Englund,” says writer, producer, and co-director Gary Smart. “He has been a mainstay of horror cinema for nearly 40-years and without question has risen to the ranks in horror alongside Vincent Price, Peter Cushing, and Christopher Lee. All of us at Cult Screenings are so excited to be celebrating this icon’s career.”
In addition to A Nightmare on Elm Street, Englund stars in Urban Legend, 2001 Maniacs, 976-EVIL, Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon, Wishmaster, V, Dead and Buried, and Phantom of the Opera.
