DEATH HOUSE, Movie Dubbed “The Expendables of Horror” Coming to Netflix–Soon!

It was one of the most hotly anticipated horror movies of 2018 and even inspired a clothing line from the folks at Terror Threads. Not bad for a movie almost nobody saw. I’m talking about Harrison Smith’s Death House, a film dubbed “The Expendables of Horror” for the sheer number of genre icons involved.

Despite several planned (limited) theatrical releases, the film eventually arrived on Blu-ray/DVD through a foreign distributor in late November and has been available to stream on Amazon Prime. But expect interest in the film to surge as Death House is coming to Netflix on May 5th! Smith was almost as surprised as the rest of us when he made the announcement via Twitter.

Synopsis:
Death House follows the events that unfold inside a secret prison, known as Death House, after a power breakdown during an exclusive tour. Two agents are forced to fight through a labyrinth of horrors while being pursued by a ruthless army of roaming inmates. As they fight to escape, the agents push toward the lowest depths of the facility where they learn a supernatural group of evil beings is their only chance for survival.

Directed by Smith and co-written by Smith and Gunnar Hansen, Death House stars Adrienne Barbeau, Bill Moseley, Tony Todd, Dee Wallace, Barbara Crampton, Sid Haig, and Cody Longo (among many others).
