It’s the year of the King–Stephen King, that is!
We finally got the latest adaptation of Pet Sematary earlier this month, and we’ve got IT: Chapter Two coming down the pike in September, followed by The Shining sequel, Doctor Sleep, arriving in November. This is in addition to new seasons of Mr. Mercedes and Castle Rock, not to mention several other King-related projects in pre-production.

On the IT: Chapter Two front, director Andy Muschietti just shared a picture (via Instagram) of James McAvoy as the grown-up Bill Denbrough (played by Jaeden Martell in 2017’s IT: Chapter One). Check it out:
Muschietti directs IT: Chapter Two from a screenplay penned by Gary Dauberman. In addition to McAvoy, the film stars Jessica Chastain, Bill Skarsgård, and Javier Botet. Look for it in US theaters beginning September 6th.
