“Meet the Family” Jason Reitman Confirms Key Cast for GHOSTBUSTERS 3

Jason Reitman has confirmed several key cast members for his upcoming Ghostbusters project. Sorry, we’re not talking about Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, or Ernie Hudson; at this time, we can’t even say for certain if the original Ghostbusters will be appearing in the film at all.
So who is confirmed for the new Ghostbusters? Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard, Annabelle Comes Home star McKenna Grace, and Carrie Coon. Reitman made the announcements himself via Twitter, calling the trio a “family”.
The tweet implies Wolfhard and Grace will play brother and sister with Coon playing their mother. Fans are already speculating that Coon may be a daughter of one of the original Ghostbusters.
The new Ghostbusters is gearing up for a summer shoot, eyeing a July 2020 release. We’ll keep you updated on all Ghostbuster-releated news as details emerge.
