Jordan Peele isn’t just in the forefront of popular consciousness because of the smashing success of Us, which arrived in theaters nationwide late last week. He’s also getting attention for rebooting the classic horror/sci-fi series The Twilight Zone. There will be new stories, but also remakes of favorites from the show’s original run in the years between 1959 and 1964.
One of the show’s most popular episodes is Nightmare at 20,000 Feet; it was already remade once in The Twilight Zone Movie, released in 1983. Now, Peele will be putting his unique spin on the familiar tale—and for starters he’s upping the altitude significantly. The Twilight Zone will arrive on CBS All Access beginning April 1st with Nightmare at 30,000 Feet and The Comedian; you can check out the trailer for the second episode below.
