It’s interesting how, when animated, “living” toys and dolls are cute; the Toy Story franchise is a perfect example. In live-action films, however, “living” dolls are no laughing matter: Just ask Chucky, Annabelle, Brahms, and many others. The YouTubers at Trailer Blend have made this point in spades by re-editing the trailer for Toy Story in the style of Child’s Play! Give it a spin at the top of the article.

Chucky’s back in the news lately with a Child’s Play reboot headed down the pike from MGM/Orion and a Chucky TV series in the works at Syfy from original franchise scribe Don Mancini. You can check out the upcoming movie’s synopsis and trailer below.
