Clear Picture of New Chucky from CHILD’S PLAY Reboot Leaks Online?

One of the biggest questions fans have regarding the new Child’s Play reboot, arriving in US theaters on June 21st, is how much “New Chucky” will look like “Classic Chucky”? We’ve seen bits and pieces of the devious little fucker, but nothing that gives us a clear overall image of the latest iteration of the devil doll made famous by Tom Holland and Don Mancini in 1988.

Until now, that is! The folks at @MoviesOnTheWay found a “leaked” picture floating around Instagram and, if real, it’s “The Full Chucky” so to speak. Sure, there are some tweaks and adjustments, but it pretty much looks like the same old Chuck. Have a look-see in the tweet below, followed by the synopsis and trailer for Child’s Play.

Without a verifiable source beyond @MoviesOnTheWay, this has to be taken with a sliver of skepticism. A reverse image search on Google, however, couldn’t find an exact match, so it’s not something that’s been floating around for a while; it’s definitely new. Still, we’ll have to wait until MGM/Orion give us some official images before we’ll know for certain if this is, indeed, our new Chucky.

Synopsis:
A mother gives her son a toy doll for his birthday, unaware of its more sinister nature.

Child’s Play is directed by Lars Klevberg from a screenplay penned by Tyler Burton Smith; the film stars Aubrey Plaza, Gabriel Bateman, and Brian Tyree Henry.
