“Horror is for Lovers” in February, as we’ve assembled a 28-day love-themed movie challenge for our most dedicated readers. This Thursday, February 14th, is Valentines Day and we thought it would be apropos for us to feature the oft-overlooked slasher Valentine, directed by Jamie Blanks, on that date. If you’re looking to add this film to your collection, Scream Factory recently dropped a stunning Blu-ray/DVD reissue/collector’s edition of the film that’s definitely worth having.

Today, Scream Factory supplied us with the exclusive clip at the top of the article. It features Valentine star Denise Richards talking about what makes the film, and her character Paige, so unique. She heaps praises on Blanks and talks about how each of the female leads plays a powerful, capable young woman (though they all have their… quirks).

Give it a spin at the top of the article, then check out the synopsis and trailer for Valentine below. You can order your physical copy from Scream Factory, HERE.

Synopsis:
Love is in the air. On the most romantic day of the year, would-be lovers woo hearts with flowers, candy, cards and gifts.
