Sneak Peek At Graham Humphreys’ FrightFest Glasgow 2019 Poster

Legendary artist Graham Humphreys has given us a peek at his poster for this year’s FrightFest Glasgow event, and it looks every bit as terrifying as his fans would expect.

Although he has been creating posters for FrightFest London for over a decade, this is the first time Humphreys has also provided the official artwork for the festival’s Scottish counterpart. Describing the stunning poster, he was quoted as saying:

‘Ahead of the official poster launch, here’s a peek at my first dedicated Glasgow FrightFest image. Depicting a Scottish cousin of the London FF monster, the theme is the ‘Gorbals Vampire’… the urban legend subject to a midnight hunt in the Southern Necropolis in the 1950s. The Necropolis gateway is depicted with the GFT canopy and deco signage. McMonster has a goblet of blood with two bobbing cineaste eyeballs. The bowler hat is a reference to Mr Cosmo, the character created for the Cosmo Cinema, which is now the GFT.’

FrightFest Glasgow runs from March 1-3 at the Glasgow Film Theatre. The schedule will include Dead Ant, Here Comes Hell, Level 16, Automata, Freaks, and The Hoard. If you haven’t done so already, you can buy your tickets here. But you might want to hurry, because they’re going to sell out very quickly.
