Zelda’s Back in Latest Teaser Trailer for PET SEMATARY!

She’s back!

The Stephen King Renaissance of 2017 cooled in 2018, but should return with a vengeance in 2019. Not only are we getting Andy Muschietti’s IT: Chapter Two in September, we’re getting a new adaptation of Pet Sematary in April. The first trailer, released several weeks back, was absolutely chilling and, yesterday, another teaser hit the web.

This one features Zelda, the deformed sister of Rachael Creed who was played by Andrew Hubatsek in Mary Lambert’s Pet Sematary (released in 1989). 2019’s Pet Sematary will feature a version of Zelda who is much more in keeping with the source material (that being Stephen King’s novel). Give the teaser a spin at the top of the article; you can also check out the synopsis and original trailer for Pet Sematary Below.

Synopsis:
Dr. Louis Creed and his wife, Rachel, relocate from Boston to rural Maine with their two young children. The couple soon discover a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near their new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his neighbor Jud Crandall, setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unspeakable evil with horrific consequences.

Pet Sematary is directed by Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer (Starry Eyes); the film stars Jason Clarke, John Lithgow, and Amy Seimetz. Alyssa Brooke Levine plays Zelda.
