We expected it to hit the internet yesterday; but while the second trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters indeed screened at Brazil Comic-Con, those of us who didn’t attend got no love.  Hey, at least we have something that will brighten up our Monday!

Finally, the second trailer for Michael Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters just hit the internet. Your heart with pound, your teeth will rattle, and the earth will shake!

Expect further breakdowns and a hunt for Easter Eggs to follow in the coming days. Dougherty (Trick ‘r Treat) directed King of the Monsters from a screenplay he co-wrote with Zach Shields; the film stars Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, and Sally Hawkins. Look for it to smash into US theaters beginning May 31st.

Synopsis:
Members of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species-thought to be mere myths-rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
