Yesterday, we shared a teaser for Godzilla: King on the Monsters (via Monarch Sciences’ Twitter account) that gave out a peek at Rodan—along with the prehistoric throwback’s gut-churning roar! Today, Monarch has released another teaser, this one of Mothra emerging from an atomic blast. Like Rodan, she too roars, but in this case, it’s more like a shriek!

Be sure to check back this Sunday for the second trailer for King of the Monsters, directed by Michael Dougherty (Trick ‘r Treat) from a screenplay he co-wrote with Zach Shields; the film stars Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, and Sally Hawkins. Godzilla: King of the Monsters will smash into US theaters beginning May 31.
Synopsis:
Members of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species-thought to be mere myths-rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
