Rob Zombie Says Richard Brake’s Acting in THREE FROM HELL is Best of His Career

While we still don’t have a release date (or even a substantive plot summary) for Rob Zombie’s sequel to The Devil’s Rejects, Three From Hell, we know the shock-rocker-turned-filmmaker is hard at work, putting his latest bloody opus together in the Editing Room. In a recent Instagram post, Zombie revealed he likes what he’s seeing—especially when it comes to actor Richard Brake.

Brake flirted with legitimate horror icon-status for his gripping performance as Doom-Head in Zombie’s unfairly maligned 31; genre fans will also remember him for his recent turn in Mandy. Three From Hell may turn out to be the film that bumps him into the upper echelons, as Zombie claims the actor gave his best performances to date.

Zombie’s Instagram post also reveals that yesterday was Brake’s birthday, so a belated “Happy Birthday” goes out to the actor from all of us here at Dread Central.
