Though it isn’t slated to demolish the box office until May 31st, 2019, the first trailer for Mike Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters was first unleashed upon the masses at San Diego Comic-Con last July. We’ll finally be getting a new trailer for the sequel to both 2014’s Godzilla and 2017’s Kong: Skull Island in the coming weeks—or even days.

In an effort to stoke Godzilla Fever to maximum intensity, Legendary Pictures has just released a new image of “The King” and it’s truly a thing of wonder. Feast your eyes on the beast below! You can check out the synopsis and trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters at the bottom of the article; the film stars Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, and Sally Hawkins.
Synopsis:
Members of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species-thought to be mere myths-rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
