Bloody Image Revealed for Neil Marshall’s R-Rated HELLBOY Reboot

While we’ll always feel a tinge of sorrow over the way Guillermo del Toro was fired from the Hellboy franchise (not to mention a hint of resentment that Ron Perlman will no longer play the titular antihero) we’re giving Hellboy 2019 the benefit of the doubt with Neil Marshall (The Descent) in the director’s chair and David Harbour donning the red makeup, sawed-off horns, and that fist of fury.

We’re just getting a new look at Harbour as Hellboy, courtesy of Empire Magazine, and we’ve got to admit: He looks pretty fucking powerful! Marshall is directing Hellboy from a script penned by Andrew Cosby and, in addition to Harbour, the movie will star Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, and Thomas Haden Church. Look for it to hit US theaters beginning April 12th, 2019.
