Check Out Spooky Astronauts’ Video Review of CAM Now on Netflix

Regular readers of Dread Central have met our video correspondent from “Down Under”; On YouTube, Emmy goes by the moniker Spooky Astronauts and, in addition to creating original content exclusively for us, she’s amassed an enviable number of followers by exploring many different facets of horror culture and fandom.

I’m especially excited to share one of her recent releases, a video review of the porn-themed mind-bender Cam. You may recall the film, directed by Daniel Goldhaber, made my personal Top 10 list of horror movies screened at this year’s Fantastic Fest in Austin. I’m always excited to hear what my colleagues think about films I loved.

She shares my enthusiasm for the film, suggesting it to anyone who’s a fan of Black Mirror. Frankly, she considers it a knockout! Synopsis:
Alice, an ambitious camgirl, wakes up one day to discover she’s been replaced on her show with an exact replica of herself.

Cam stars and Madeline Brewer, Patch Darragh, and Melora Walters. Cam is currently available to stream on Netflix.
