First Teasers for WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS TV Series Introduce New Vamp Crew

2014’s What We Do in the Shadows was a surprise horror hit, appearing on many of that year’s Top 10 lists. Written, directed by, and starring Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi (with fellow New Zealanders Jonny Brugh and Rhys Darby is supporting roles), it was equal parts madcap black comedy and biting social satire. First and foremost, it was a bloody good time!
Today, we’re getting our first look at a couple teasers for What We Do in the Shadows, the TV series coming to FX this Spring. They’re shot but sweet, introducing us to a brand-new trio of vampires. This iteration takes place in New York, so the geography will be drastically different; the horrifying hilarity, however, looks true to the source.
Synopsis:
They suck at being hosts. Be afraid of What We Do In The Shadows this Spring on FX. What We Do in the Shadows is a half-hour comedy series based on the feature film of the same name by co-creators Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. Set in New York City, the show follows three vampires who have been roommates for hundreds and hundreds of years. Stars Matt Berry, Kayvan Novak, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillen, and Mark Proksch.
