NO MAN’S SKY: THE ABYSS Halloween Update Dives Into The Ocean Depths

The story of how No Man’s Sky went from being one of the most hyped games of this generation to being a bitter disappointment will go down in history as a morality tale about how to not mislead consumers about your product. Either way, there’s no doubt that the numerous updates released by Hello Games since No Man’s Sky originally hit stores have helped make it into something actually worth playing. And if you are one of the many people who have spent countless hours exploring the vast galaxy it offers, you might be interested in the new Halloween update, which is known as The Abyss. And best of all, it’s absolutely free.

Instead of flying through space, The Abyss will take you to the underwater depths of a remote alien planet, where you will discover monsters so terrifying, you’ll wish you had stayed on the surface. In particular, you’ll have to look out for the Abyssal Horror, which is said to have lured many explorers to a grim end. If you don’t get eaten, you’ll uncover an eerie story about sunken wrecks, buried treasure, and a stranded freighter crew.

No Man’s Sky: The Abyss is available now on both PS4 and PC, and from what we’ve seen so far, it looks like it could be the most enjoyable update yet. If you’re brave enough to voyage into the ocean depths, you should definitely give it a shot.
