Spooktacular Adventure HALLOWEEN FOREVER Lands On PS4

Let’s face it, we all wish it could be Halloween forever. And while that’s never going to happen, at least PS4 owners can now enjoy the video game Halloween Forever all year round. The spooky side-scroller stars Pumpkin Man, a humanoid pumpkin given life by occult forces, who sets out on a quest to discover why things have suddenly become so creepy. He looks so darn cute that we can almost forgive him for wearing dungarees. Almost.
Throughout your journey, you’ll be going toe to toe with undead sorcerers, skeletons, waves of bats, and chainsaw-wielding psychos, so you’ll need to have all your wits about you if you don’t want to end up in the compost heap. However, you don’t need to worry about pumpkin juice flying in every direction whenever you take damage, because as you can probably tell from the trailer and screenshots below, Halloween Forever is clearly targeting a younger demographic than most of the games released around this time of year. Which makes it a welcome alternative to the usual influx of adult-oriented horror titles flooding the marketplace during the Halloween season.
Halloween Forever was developed and published by Imaginary Monsters with help from Poppy Works, and it was originally released on Steam before making its way to PS4 and Vita. And not only has it already been receiving great praise, but any game that lets you vomit candy corn is worth playing in our book.
