Yes, Halloween scored an estimated $32 million in its second weekend of release, dipping 58%. It has now made a whopping $126 million domestically in just ten days in release, all on a $10 million budget. It was also the #1 film internationally with a take of $25.6 million for a global total over $172 million.
Halloween is directed by David Gordon Green based on a script he wrote with Danny McBride. Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode as does Nick Castle as Michael “The Shape” Myers.
