Shudder Launches First Original Scripted Podcast Series with Reality-Bending VIDEO PALACE

A Blair Witch Project producer is pioneering another reality-bending experience with Shudder’s first original podcast, Video Palace!

Shudder is making a foray into the arena of scripted podcasts with a new series that blurs the line between fiction and reality. Horror collector Mark Cambria, played by Chase Williamson (John Dies at the End, The Guest) is a podcaster who receives a mysterious VHS from one of his listeners. When he begins talking in his sleep in a strange language no one can identify, he and his girlfriend Tamra set out to find the origins of the enigmatic white tape.

To that end, they seek the expertise of real-life horror experts including Dread Central co-founder Steve “Uncle Creepy” Barton, Adam Green, Brian Collins, and Sam Zimmerman. It leads them down a rabbit hole of occult phenomenon and conspiracy theories with all signs pointing to the titular Video Palace.
