Screamfest 2018: Dread Central Presents’ THE GOLEM Makes North American Premiere!

‘Tis the season for frights and terror and what better way for Los Angeles residents to enjoy all that October and Halloween have to offer than by attending this year’s Screamfest Horror Film Festival? That’s right, America’s largest and longest-running horror film festival is back for another year and they’ve released the first wave of films that they’ll be showing audiences.
This year’s ambassador is beloved genre icon Lin Shaye, who has appeared in the Insidious series as well as A Nightmare on Elm Street, Dead End, 2001 Maniacs, and loads more.
“Screaming is good for the soul,” said Shaye. “I am extremely excited and honored to serve as this year’s Screamfest ambassador and scream with all of you! I’m thrilled to support and celebrate a space where filmmakers, actors, and fans can unveil their hard work, and celebrate the horror genre.”
Included in the first wave is the North American premiere of our very own The Golem, which was directed by Yoav and Doron Paz, the duo behind the found footage hit JeruZalem. You can see the full first wave below.
Screamfest Horror Film Festival will take place October 9-18 at the TCL Chinese 6 Theaters in Hollywood. Tickets are available at Screamfest.
