It’s August; the sun is shining, the kiddies are getting in their last ditch summer hook ups and it’s time, once more, for MONSTER-MANIA! Monster-Mania 9 blackens the landscape of Cherry Hill, NJ this August 24-26th, bringing an army of horror celebs, new films and once in a lifetime events to the fans who can’t get enough of it.

This time around, the biggest horror show on the east coast boasts a grand total of five reunions. Karen Black brings the Firefly family home with Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, E.G. Daily, Michael Berryman and even Danny Trejo in attendance for a 1000 Corpses/ Devil’s Rejects reunion. Angus Scrimm squares off with Reggie Bannister once again, this time with dueling sharpies for a Phantasm reunion. Chris Sarandon was the voice of Jack Skellington, but his creepy pedigree goes further than that. Chris squared off against Chucky in Child’s Play and seduced Marcy Darcy into a red haired vampire vixen in Fright Night, and MM9 has cast members from both films!

Now there’s a little film coming out the end of the month by an obscure artist type who goes by the name of Rob Zombie. MM9 celebrates the return of Michael Myers with 14 guests who have starred in Halloween movies from the original to the newest incarnation, including fan favorite Danielle Harris, the original face of evil Tony Moran and Rob’s pick for little Mikey, Daeg Faerch. All weekend long, these celebs will be on hand to sign your prized horror swag and join together for Q&A’s where you can ask them the questions that have burning in your cranium ever since the first viewing of their films.
