Ahead of its upcoming release on September 7, we want to give San Diego readers the chance to see Corin Hardy’s The Nun, the latest spinoff in The Conjuring universe. The showing will be on Wednesday, September 5 at the AMC Mission Valley 20 and all you need to do to RSVP is get your passes at this link.
“When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in “The Conjuring 2,” as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.”

The film is directed by Corin Hardy (The Hallow) from a script by James Wan and Gary Dauberman (Annabelle, Annabelle: Creation) and stars Demian Bichir, Taissa Farmiga, Bonnie Aarons, Jonas Bloquet, Charlotte Hope, and Ingrid Bisu.
The Nun has snagged an R rating via the MPAA for “terror, violence, and disturbing/bloody images.”
