MEET JIMMY the Latest Horror Short to be Turned Into a Feature Via Platinum Dunes

Paramount and Platinum Dunes will be turning David-Jan Bronsgeest and Tim Koomen’s short film Meet Jimmy into a feature. Sources compare the short film to The Ring and A Nightmare On Elm Street, with “a zeitgeist hook”.
Full details are being kept quiet, but the short revolves around a mysterious podcast that once listened to, has horrific consequences. Paramount sees it as a potential franchise.
Bronsgeest will direct and Shawn & Michael Rasmussen (Crawl) will write the script along with Koomen. Platinum Dunes’ Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller will produce along with Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman. Jake Wagner and Scott Stoops will be exec producers. Koomen will be co-producer.
