CONFIRMED: John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN 4K Coming This September

There have been rumors floating around that we will be getting a 4K Blu-ray version of John Carpenter’s classic Halloween this October – and today we have confirmation!

Yes, John Carpenter’s Halloween 4K will be hitting on September 25th, 2018 in Canada and the US via Lionsgate releasing.

Halloween was directed by John Carpenter from a screenplay he co-wrote along with producer Debra Hill. The prototype slasher film starred Jamie Lee Curtis, P.J. Soles, Nancy Loomis, and Donald Pleasence.

It’s currently available for pre-order via Barnes & Noble and Diabolik DVD.

Synopsis:

On a cold Halloween night in 1963, six-year-old Michael Myers brutally murdered his 17-year-old sister, Judith. He was sentenced and locked away for 15 years. But on October 30, 1978, while being transferred for a court date, a 21-year-old Michael Myers steals a car and escapes Smith’s Grove. He returns to his quiet hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois, where he looks for his next victims.
