This is a fun story for a Sunday morning. Turns out Venngage.com has done a study on CreepyPasta and found 7 things they all share in common.
They even created a slick graph!
The study examined 72 the most shared and most discussed creepypastas on four popular creepypasta sites, and from there the sie collected what they call:
Creepypasta Ingredients:
1. A first-person narrative
2. Murder
3. Cliffhanger endings
4. Monsters or supernatural beings
5. Unexplained phenomenon
6. Creepy images
7. Creepy videos
