THE NUN Scores MPAA Rating

The Nun 240x300 - THE NUN Scores MPAA RatingRecently we were hit with the first trailer for director Corin Hardy’s The Conjuring spin-off, The Nun starring Demian Bichir and Taissa Farmiga. And today we have a word on whether or not the film scored a PG-13 rating or an R, like the rest of The Conjuring films.

And it looks like The Nun will follow suit with the rest of the films in the series as it has snagged an R rating via the MPAA for “terror, violence, and disturbing/bloody images.”

The film is directed by Corin Hardy (The Hallow) from a script by James Wan and Gary Dauberman (Annabelle, Annabelle: Creation) and stars Demian Bichir, Taissa Farmiga, Bonnie Aarons, Jonas Bloquet, Charlotte Hope, and Ingrid Bisu.

The Nun nightmares into theaters September 7.
