Confirmed: ZOMBIELAND 2 Hits Halloween 2019 with Original Cast

It’s official!
Horror-comedy Zombieland is getting that sequel we told you about a few months back. Zombieland 2 is coming our way soon via original director Ruben Fleischer (Venom) and the original film’s screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool, Deadpool 2).
The original cast will be back as well including Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin. Gavin Polone returns as producer, while Reese and Wernick will also serve as executive producers.

The movie begins production in January 2019 and has an October 2019 release date.
Synopsis:
In Zombieland 2, through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, the Zombie slayers must face off against many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.
