ARTIK Trailer Brings Slasher Terror to a Desolate Farm

The first trailer for the action/horror hybrid Artik has arrived and it looks like one helluva bloodbath! While the trailer makes the film seem pretty straightforward, the official synopsis certainly raises a few eyebrows.

“Artik centers​ ​ around​ a​ ​ family-run​ ​sunflower​ ​farm,​ w​here​ comic-book obsessed​ ​serial​ ​killer Artik,​​ his​ ​life​ partner​ ​Flin,​ ​and​ t​heir​ ​family​ ​of​ ​foster​ ​kids​ ​are​ ​on​ ​the​ ​hunt​ ​for​ t​he ultimate​ ​comic-book​ hero until Holton​,​ ​an​ ​Al-Anon​ ​attending​ ​straight-edge,​ punk purist, ​​comes ​between ​t​hem.”

Okay then…

The feature film debut of writer/director Tom Botchii, Artik stars Chase Williamson, Lauren Ashley Carter, Jerry G Angelo, and Matt Mercer. It will be coming out later this summer.
