Netflix Brings Us STRANGER THINGS Books This Fall
Netflix has just announced that they will be partnering with Penguin Random House for a worldwide publishing deal for books based on Stranger Things.
The first two titles will be a behind-the-scenes companion book titled Stranger Things: World Turned Upside Down: The Official Behind-The-Scenes Companion and a currently untilted hardcover gift book for young readers, which will offer “advice, wisdom, and warnings from the Stranger Things world.”
Both of those titles are set for release this fall. Then, next spring, Deadline reports we will be hit with a prequel novel about Eleven’s mother and the MKUltra program written by author Gwenda Bond.
The Stranger Things books will hit via Del Rey Books, Random House Children’s Books, Cornerstone Publishing, and Penguin Random House Children’s UK, with additional territories and imprints to follow. Audiobook editions will be published by Penguin Random House Audio. Additional titles will arrive later in 2019.
