See Jamie Lee Curtis Get Her Gun Love On in First HALLOWEEN Footage
Tomorrow sees the full trailer release for Blumhouse’s Halloween and it seems like Jamie Lee Curtis couldn’t wait to share a snippet of it with everyone as she’s posted a >30-second clip. In it, she sings a little song while approaching a bullet-riddled mannequin before putting a shot right between its eyes. Seems like Laurie Strode is ready for anything Michael has to throw at her!
“The new Halloween brings back Laurie and Michael but also leans into pop culture’s current fascination with true crime (see also: Making a Murderer, Serial). A British documentary crew comes to the States to visit Michael in prison for a retrospective of the maniac’s night of terror but their project becomes way more interesting when Myers escapes custody, retrieves his signature mask and seeks revenge on Laurie, with others naturally being part of his impressive career body count along the way.”
Halloween is directed by David Gordon Green based on a script he wrote with Danny McBride. Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode as does Nick Castle as Michael “The Shape” Myers. They are joined by Will Patton, Andi Matichak, and Judy Greer. Halloween creator John Carpenter is on board as executive producer and composer. It comes to theaters October 19, 2018.
