Netflix and Del Toro Join Forces for New Horror Anthology Series

Looks like Netflix is finally getting into the horror anthology game with their newly announced series from executive producer Guillermo del Toro, aptly titled Guillermo del Toro Presents 10 Past Midnight

The series is described via Deadline as a collection of Del Toro’s equally sophisticated and horrific personally curated stories. The anthology series marks the first live-action collaboration between Del Toro and Netflix following DreamWorks Trollhunters animated series.

Del Toro will write and direct certain episodes along with handpicking a team of top horror writers and new filmmakers to bring the series to life. J. Miles Dale (The Shape of Water) produces along with Del Toro and Exile Entertainment’s Gary Ungar.

While it has not been confirmed at this time, I’m willing to bet for than a fistful of dollars that the series will run… you guessed it… 10 episodes. Ya think? Whatever the episode run, I’ll be there with my Tales from the Crypt shirt on and my Twilight Zone booties. Bring it.

We’ll let you know when we hear more!
